Bad Bunny becomes the first artist to win the Grammy for Album of the Year and win a pro wrestling pay-per-view match.

You have heard loud audience reactions before in your life, but Bad Bunny entering a San Juan arena with "Chambea" playing is next level.

The next item in the auction was a week in a house in Sag Harbor. As the auctioneer was in the middle of talking about the item, Bari shouted “Name your price!” Didn’t wait for the bidding to begin. She won it for $25k.

Bari Weiss attended a fundraiser last night in NYC, attendee tells me. There was an auction item for dinner with her and wife Nellie Bowles. Several people cheered in approval, many others said after how gross it was. Bari shouted out “And you can make out with Nellie!” It ultimately sold for $55k.

The thing that's striking when you watch old, full SNL episodes is that even at its height, that show had 1-2 great sketches per episode and a whole lotta forgettable filler.

And when you watch old, full SCTV episodes, every single fucking sketch hits.
I've seen many comments over the past day that SCTV was better sketch comedy than SNL back in the day.
As someone who watched both shows weekly, I'm here to agree with that wholeheartedly.
Thanks to @willmckinley.bsky.social for providing the links below so you can judge for yourself.

SCTV is on Internet Archive if you'd like to enjoy the early work of Catherine O'Hara and her fellow sketch comedy gods.

I really don’t want to have a Nintendo Partner showcase as the next direct, there needs to be something showcasing what’s coming up this summer for the Switch 2 because a port of Mario Wonder and Yoshi ain’t enough

I wouldn't rule out Elon Musk literally shutting down Twitter if it means avoiding the Epstein scandal and his emails showing he wanted to go to the pedophile's island and party with him.

The project to distance Epstein’s associates and collaborators from his abuse, a project which has been taken on by the likes of Ezra Klein and people at the elite institutions that enabled Epstein, is a project to prevent fully understanding why abusers get away with it and how they can be stopped

Ok. Well, we all knew it was evil somehow but I really didn't expect Epstein to be responsible for why video games are bad now. That's just not what I would've thought.

I genuinely believe the most important thing that happened in film in 2025 was this Ryan Coogler PSA about the different ways to experience SINNERS in theaters. His enthusiasm and knowledge regarding aspect rations and formats were infectious, making the very act of seeing his movie seem thrilling.

I just listened to Coogler on Good Hang and the specific way in which he talks about why moviegoing is a vital communal experience should be the industry standard - direct, warm, not condescending, not too precious, just exactly the right tone. He's one of our best ambassadors imho
