it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

update: psych wrote back and suggested increasing one of my meds for a few days to see if I think that has an effect. it's up to me if I want to wait or try now but if it does work let him know so he can send in a new scrip.

hey @darthbluesky.bsky.social how do you make mashed potatoes? this is how I make mine.
I don't use a recipe for the mashed potatoes but here's how I do it: take yukon golds, wash, cut into roughly even chunks. put them in instant pot, cover with water, add generous amount of salt, pressure 9 min. the IP can hold just over 5lbs potatoes.

so uh I would like to report that I formally accepted a job offer today! I'll be building out problem management for a healthcare tech company. The role is great, the salary is a big cut but I didn't feel I had leverage to push for more given the job market.
