I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

Why the heck is the top story on CNN "gee, this jobs report from September sure is confusing"?

You have to scroll way down to find a little bitty blurb about how the President just called for mass executions of the opposing party.

This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.

The Misleading Story Fox News Told About Portland Before Trump Sent Troops
This story was originally published by ProPublica. Republished under a CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 license. When President Donald Trump told reporters on Sept. 5 he’d started looking at sending the National Guard to Portland, Oregon, he said it was because of something he saw on television. He said the city was being destroyed by paid agitators. “What they’ve done to that place, it’s like living in hell,” he said, a comment that became an internet meme as some Portland residents juxtaposed it with tranquil images of the city.

I really do hate the term 'metroidbrania'. I think so do many of you. Let's nip it in the bud before it becomes something people are financially invested in.
Against 'Metroidbrania': a Landscape of Knowledge Games
What are knowledge games? How do we relate them to each other? What sub-genres exist – and which ones might be implied?

Trump did on 60 Minutes what he does every time. He spews a blizzard of lies, exaggerations and assorted other falsehoods, and if (as usual) the reporter isn’t equipped or doesn’t bother to push back, he keeps going.

Lindsey Halligan is no Pat Fitzgerald. The attempt to besmirch Fitzgerald’s reputation was a cheap shot, and one that will undoubtedly misfire. She’s no match for what she’s up against—the rule of law & lawyers who care about it.
James Comey responds to Lindsey Halligan's claim that his counsel, Patrick Fitzgerald, ever "improperly disclosed classified material." Says the claim is "provably false" and an "effort to defame" Fitzgerald.
