Having a senile President is bad because a President needs to be able to make informed, rational decisions. Trump didn't do that even when his brain worked. His senility doesn't change anything. It does not increase the fear I feel about his Presidency.

The two categories are, basically, waging war against the USA (as a citizen) or helping people who do.
*Illegally* using soldiers to kill US citizens seems at least "war on USA"-adjacent. I don't know if the founders who wrote and approved the treason language would have agreed, though.

I disagree. To not take it seriously just normalizes it. Reporters have a duty to find out who, exactly, the President wants to murder.
