My constructive question to this student is, how would you articulate your concerns and your reasoning to someone who does not share your faith in the Bible as an authority? Being able to do this is an important objective for education, both for self-awareness and for living in society.

Maybe men shouldn't be Supreme Court justices. They might be too emotional for the job.
Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.

Exactly. SCOTUS would point out (within its total 2-3 sentences of reasoning) that POTUS would suffer irreparable harm if he couldn’t hold gilded era style balls asap. Whereas the people’s interest in preserving the WH is speculative and diffuse.

I think some people are too young to remember when healthcare discourse was SATURATED with people suffering or even dying because their insurance wouldn't cover "pre-existing conditions."

Immigration is good and we need to say so. It is in our best interest when people want to come to this country to make a better life for themselves. My family story is the shtelt to the American dream in three generations. Other people should have this opportunity, too.

I am always sort of curious where this image of Secretary Mayor Pete as a like arch-Carvilleite comes from because it seems unrelated to anything he has said or done in his career, he would be the most left-wing president since FDR and is the guy they send on Fox News to fight in enemy territory

This is not actually all that wrong. It's just ... really bloody and scary.
The second amendment literally is for this specifically. It's not about everyone having guns it's about states being able to have their own military units to thwart federal overreach. He has a constitutional DUTY to activate state guard and keep them from federal control.
