Whatever anyone thinks of rank, experience, or interpersonal respect, “don’t ask questions” is terrible leadership.
An admiral leading an entire combatant command probably knows some things. And such a person will sometimes need to ask things to do their job well.

I’m kind of new to the Democrats, but I thought we were FOR respecting the legal process, and also that we were AGAINST political corruption. And that it was especially important to hold to these principles at this time.

A big difference in how this impacts people is how capable they are of regulating the "parasocial mob" for themselves. That's the key literacy of the 21st century and we don't really even talk about it let alone teach people how to do it effectively.

The winner-take-all nature of the electoral college is ridiculous. The sensible answer is a proportional distribution of electoral votes based on a candidate’s votes in that state, but that is essentially the same as direct vote so why have an electoral college?

My constructive question to this student is, how would you articulate your concerns and your reasoning to someone who does not share your faith in the Bible as an authority? Being able to do this is an important objective for education, both for self-awareness and for living in society.

Maybe men shouldn't be Supreme Court justices. They might be too emotional for the job.
Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.

I think some people are too young to remember when healthcare discourse was SATURATED with people suffering or even dying because their insurance wouldn't cover "pre-existing conditions."
The GOP wants you to go back to that, because the GOP hates you.

I am always sort of curious where this image of Secretary Mayor Pete as a like arch-Carvilleite comes from because it seems unrelated to anything he has said or done in his career, he would be the most left-wing president since FDR and is the guy they send on Fox News to fight in enemy territory
