Inspired by this let's take a Journey through my Borefts life.
In 2009, a small brewery in a small Dutch town hosted a small beer festival (maybe 100-200 people).

Thread.

British journalists are always like "I only had 4 annual european holidays growing up, because my father, the Baron, was a bit of a cheapskate, so really I am working class" then 5 minutes later decree an actual working class person a faker because they drink coffee

This image of an Amazon van abandoned in the Thames Estuary faintly evokes an impressionist painting. I am so moved.

I've not got far into @davidjesudason.bsky.social book on Desi Pubs . but his comment on authentic resonate (though I've definitely been guilty of being one of those people) but I've also long said there is no one authentic recipe. i bet every house cooked the same dish differently and 1/2

The Labour Party as a 'broad church' housing the left at the same time as right-wing 'centrists' is over.

The Labour right has shown very clearly that it cannot coexist with the Labour left.

DROP THE CHARGES

Next Monday, 32 people are scheduled to make their first appearance at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

They have been charged with a terror-related offence for holding placards supporting Palestine Action at a demonstration last August.

In a decision that should spell the end of Yvette Cooper’s political career, the High Court has ruled the ban on Palestine Action is unlawful.

Oh, and it contains maize, which didn’t exist on this side of the Atlantic before 1492.
Spotted in Belfast Airport - apparently Heverlee “premium” pilsner is brewed to the “original recipe” which dates back to 1129. Surprised by this, given that lager yeast didn’t emerge until the 15th century and pilsner didn’t exist until 1842. ABInBev really don’t give a shit about beer or drinkers.

Just checking, it's now ok to flee your homeland, because you're afraid for your safety, and seek refuge in another Country?

Glad we've cleared that up. Let's hear no more about immigration and refugees then.
