Mutton dressed as something that’s going to “fall” from a hotel window in the not-too-distant future.
Fun fact: Today is the 1 year anniversary of Farage's foreign national girlfriend Ferrari buying his house. With unexplained wealth. That should be investigated...

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The official investigation into the January 6 riots concluded Trump “summoned the mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack" in an effort to halt the peaceful transfer of power.

No billion dollar lawsuit can change reality.

The BBC should call this convicted criminal’s bluff.

It was the worst part of my time as a Research Associate. I’m glad there is political recognition of the horror of animal testing. We are better than this. We have to be.
Buried news of the day IMO

"Government vows to phase out animal tests as alternative methods come on stream with new strategy welcomed as ‘ambitious’ and ‘timely’ by animal welfare & life sciences organisations."

Plus new £75 million funding to bring forward new testing methods for health products

New plan backs researchers to seize on new and developing opportunities to phase out animal tests with specific commitments for the coming years.

The BBC is being destroyed from within. I’m not sure how we counter that.

How can you tell Boris Johnson is talking out of his arse?

His lips are moving.
Boris Johnson says the idea that criticism of the BBC is being organised by the right is ‘complete and utter bollocks’, which makes me think there might be something in it.

If innocent Americans die because Trump has chosen to starve them, will that qualify as murder?

Um, what now?

Like we’ve never noticed six different guys playing the same character? There is literally no continuity between different versions of 007. Get a grip, Studio Bleurghs.

Utterly loathsome. Not one saving grace in his body.
You may have missed this gem yesterday. From which we learn that:

1. Betting shops are really good for the mental health of isolated people.
2. Most drug-takers are not a problem.
3. Kids put tuppence in slot machines in the hope of getting rich.
4. Farage probably has a gambling industry donor.

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Brilliant! It was the absolute worst part of my time as a Research Associate. I believe scientific pursuits are a force for good but animals shouldn’t suffer.
Animal testing to be phased out faster

Working towards another manifesto promise, the Labour government will today reveal its strategy to phase out animal testing more quickly.

It will include dates for gradual bans and support researchers to use alternative methods, along with additional funding.

See also; Tories and Labour.
It’s the same old same old. Republicans do a tantrum and break the dishes. The Democrats clean it up. It’s an abusive relationship.

I always feel a little pain in my heart when I think of people being excluded from life because of who they love. And then I wonder what the world would have been like if Alan Turing had been afforded the respect and love he so richly deserved.

The ultimate Escape Room. I love the Barbican. Leave it alone.
"Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimised by the Barbican’s layout."

Maybe the redesign could include *not* stopping signing destinations two turns and 150m before you get there?
The Barbican admits it needs to solve ‘challenging navigation’ issues

Maybe the British public should send a similar message to the BBC that the public sent to Disney when Trump pushed Kimmel off air… #BoycottBBC
It’s already started - the BBC allows Newsmax boss to opine about bias, suggest some of the Jan 6 mob were merely innocent tourists visiting Congress, without pushback

I’m giving it a year, before parasite musk makes his gross entrance.

Tonight’s rewatch is The Martian. I think I love this movie because potatoes can be grown on Mars, which means the Irish can colonise the galaxy.

It blows my mind, every time I look up at the night sky, and lose myself for a moment in the endless oblivion, how so many people can still be so certain of their importance, while contributing zero worth to the human journey.
