The Shōwa and Heisei emperors were both legitimate marine biologists and Emperor Naruhito has a master's degree in history. Going from academically competent to a guy who can't even tie his own shoelaces seems destined to have political consequences even if their professional skills are unrelated.
Okay, but like, what does the emperor actually do, these days? Does the job require being smart in any way?

The equation is simple: you can’t afford healthcare anymore because ICE agents are making 6-figure salaries and $50k signing bonuses. The money is not marked for life, liberty or happiness. It is set aside for state suppression.

/4 (4) it’s on FACEBOOK for Christ’s sake. If the readers tried to do anything they’d break a hip. In short, it is absolutely typical, standard, unremarkable political rhetoric unequivocally protected by the First Amendment. Your feeling that it might not be is just wrong and you are wrong.

Americans, not foreigners, are bearing almost the entire cost of US tariffs, according to new research that contradicts a key claim by Trump and suggests he might have a weaker hand in a reemerging trade war with Europe. (WSJ)
