Under the (fluffy, black and feline) paw. Very fond of beans on toast. Intermittent quiddler and dedicated hurkle-durkler. Views are my own, reposts aren't endorsements.

I don't like to talk about stories before they are fully reported, but I am writing on ICE in a Minnesota town that isn't Minneapolis. However bad you think it is, it is worse. It is a campaign of pure terror whose only strategic goal is more terror. There is no strategy other than to break people.

The UK version of “Project 2025” by the Reform party includes a British ICE, a concentration camp for 24,000 people, mass surveillance and withdrawing from refugee, anti-torture and anti-trafficking conventions.

It’s on their website. That’s how comfortable fascists are in the UK today.

One of the hardest things to do is bring campaign-level communications to the work of governance, and snowstorms are notoriously one of the biggest litmus tests that less-engaged voters use to judge mayoral administrations. This is an excellent way to communicate.

The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

Why are the Scottish Gov (£9.25 million) and Edinburgh Council (£1.7 million) paying more than £10M to have the Tour de France come to Edinburgh. Given the enormous financial shortfalls they both have is this really a priority? Is the man on the 44 bus going to benefit? I think not. #Edinburgh

NEW: Five years of social media history is only a fraction of what the US Government will shortly demand of overseas visitors.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

Below is the full, mind-blowing list.

Seen in a property ad yesterday. Fashions come and go. I think this one I wouldn't mind going for good. 😁
