I’m so excited to have my Congresswoman and friend, @ilhanmn.bsky.social, on board with my candidacy for Mayor! She fights hard for the working people of Minneapolis. As Mayor, I’ll partner with leaders like her to build an affordable city that's accountable to us. secure.actblue.com/donate/fateh...

remember folks, the Minnesota DFL state central commitee votes for the chair of the state party and all the SCC seats are up in 2026.

prepare to attend ur caucus on February 3, 2026 & then run for SCC at ur senate district’s convention OR ur congressional district convention (CD5 for example).

Becka Thompson is engaging in deeply disturbing attacks on women of color on city council using the same arguments as white supremacists.

This person is endorsed by All of Mpls—another reason to ring the alarm when you see them endorsing any candidate.
The context is Becka is talking about the DSA infiltration of the Minneapolis DFL, claiming Council Vice-President Aisha Chughtai portrayed herself as a moderate to win office.

"Because people would rank her second or third 'cause they're like 'The nice young—you know—ethnic woman.'"

Disgusting.

I am incredibly honored to be the DFL endorsed candidate for Minneapolis Mayor. This endorsement is a message that Minneapolis residents are done with broken promises, vetoes, and politics as usual. It’s a mandate to build a city that works for all of us. fatehformayor.com/donate

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Aisha Chughtai is one of the smartest, most well-prepared people in our city government.
Aisha Chughtai is the convention MVP , for late her motion that stopped the Frey delays and shenanigans, secured Fateh a victory, and got endorsements to a slew of progressive park board candidates

If Fateh was the only guy who said he wouldn’t continue if not endorsed and he is head and shoulders above Frey, I need all the Hampton and Davis people to go all in. Jazz and Dewayne will stay in the race but imagine shutting jakey boy out

It’s Fateh vs. Frey right now. Progress vs. the same old lies.

There is room for all of us to rank candidates we support in November, but today, we need to unite to defeat Frey.

I hope all Davis & Hampton delegates vote to endorse Fateh and remind Frey that Mpls is united.

I’m extremely disappointed that Gov. Tim Walz, Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy, and DFL House Leader Hortman abandoned our communities. They made a deal with the GOP to strip away healthcare from undocumented residents. 1/

MNCare for everyone has been the best thing about this state for so long. Does the DFL really believe tearing healthcare from undocumented folks will win back the trifecta? Is that the goal?

The Dems are so focused on trying & failing to win elections that we don't care who we kill along the way.

Campaigns cost money. It’s frustrating but true. As the MN Senate enters the last week of the legislative session, I’m going to have less time to fundraise this week while representing District 62 at the Capitol. This is where you come in! fatehformayor.com/donate

In today’s @startribune.com I wrote about the illegal internment of Doğukan Günaydın, a Turkish grad student at the U of Minnesota.

His home is Saint Paul, and he should be free, at home.

It is time for a radical love revolution in America. Love your neighbors.
Opinion: The unjust detention of Doğukan Günaydın

I’m on Team Omar. I’m really proud of the work our team did to show up on caucus night — but we must remember that this was just one checkpoint in a long race to beat Frey. The real story of the night is that way more people want a new Mayor than want to keep our current one.
