Most people go right as they get older. I keep going left. Must be dyslexic. I'm afraid I've got some bad news boys.

I have a lot of new followers so I need to make clear a rule that I've had for 20 years on social media. Unless I know you and/or you have my tacit approval, do not @ me or post directly to my TL. I will immediately block you.

Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25

They're continuing to starve them on purpose
24 hours after the Israeli army announced it would reopen the Zikim crossing, it remains closed, with no trucks entering Gaza, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports.

The shutdown leaves all of northern Gaza without a functioning entry point for humanitarian or commercial supplies...

Like the real standard here, obvious but never explicitly stated, is that we cannot fully describe the crimes of the powerful in our society because to lay bare the horror would be to imply the necessity of action, and we're not going to do that.
Our editorial stance is kidnappings are bad. This is not Real Journalism because it's important to be neutral about atrocities
Got turned down on a piece about ICE in Chicago for an international news org because they believed I couldn’t be objective about my neighbors getting kidnapped. And well, guilty as charged I guess.

It's just not "feasible" to give away money. Buffet is full of shit. Just like the rest of the Billionaire class who try to use philanthropy to justify their grotesque hoarding of wealth.
Warren Buffett admits his Giving Pledge philanthropy was not ‘feasible’—he’s instead left his three kids $500 million a year to give away
The Berkshire Hathaway billionaire says his longevity has led to “unavoidable consequences” for his charitable objectives.

I got wise to the Democrats after Bill Clinton lied to me in 1992 and it was "fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me." What do you call people who get fooled 4,836,592 times and still keep trusting these jabronis?

the Rosetta Stone of dem politics is the 2006 senate primary which incumbent Joe Lieberman lost in part for making out with George Bush

He ran anyway, won with GOP support, dems let him keep his seniority, chairmanships and perks & he rewarded them by obstructing the ACA & killing the public option
An important question you cannot skip over in pursuit of the Primary Them All solution is: how likely is it that defeating entitled narcissists in a primary will actually stop them from running?
