Apple and Issey Miyake announced a new offering available this Friday: the iPhone Pocket.

It’s a ribbed bag inspired by “a piece of cloth,” designed to hold a cellphone and it’ll run you $230 — and our Style writers have thoughts. https://wapo.st/4p7utez

My family was involved in real estate during the housing market crisis so my mom has really been able to discuss how many similarities she’s seen in the housing market with what we’re seeing today and the reason why is because the numbers show that we really are on the verge of another recession

Larry Summers thinks he's a brilliant thinker and tries to cultivate an air of brave truth-telling, but he's always been mid (at best), and his only distinguishing talent has been insinuating himself into elite spaces where his schtick actually works.
Obviously the Epstein connection is the main thing here, but you just know that Summers was so proud of himself for being so clever with this slimy bullshit: "I observed that half the IQ In world was possessed by women without mentioning they are more than 51 percent of population..."
Why hello there former US Treasury Secretary, president of Harvard, and director of the National Economic Council Larry Summers.

One horrific thing to me is that the president- a man who has gotten away with everything including literal murder up to this point- seems extremely nervous about anything regarding Epstein coming out. Like how bad does it have to be

The @cornelluniversity.bsky.social capitulation to Trump's demands hit personally for me, because @techdirt.com likely wouldn't exist without the education I got at Cornell. Wrote about how pissed off this made me, even if the deal was not "as bad" as others signed.

Cowardice And Capitulation At Cornell
On Friday it was announced that my alma mater, Cornell, had caved to the Trump administration and agreed to a “deal” the federal government had offered them to get back the funding it had illegally cut off from Cornell as part of its authoritarian efforts to bully top universities into submission. This capitulation came just days after the American electorate showed that…

A fun exercise is thinking about how far down the presidential line of succession you'd have to go before you find someone who isn't involved in committing or covering up the most heinous crimes known to man. You have to impeach everyone until you get there
