Kino Loy perfectly embodies the entire thesis of the show: it doesn’t matter if you won’t live to see the better future ahead, it’s your duty to fight for it so others can have a better life. Brilliant character, and the entire Narkina 5 arc is still my favorite.

Fun fact i recently learned from Reddit: the Highlander's one true love (when this song plays in the movie), Beatie Edney, was also the judge who sentences "Keef Girgo" to Narkina 5 in Andor.

I had this really strange feeling in one of the early Narkina V scenes, almost sort of micro-existential-crisis, that not only would Trek never truly be able to measure up to Wars again but, wow, this is cleverer than anything they did with Terok Nor and oh no I spent my life on the wrong franchise?

Oh, maybe you're referring to me ranking Andor season 1 higher that 2. It was hard, but ultimately I think there's really nothing quite like the Narkina V arc in the rest of the canon. Andor S2 is brilliant, but Andor S1 hits moments of utter iconography that just can't be matched.

I'm on my 4th time through the series. This time around I did fast forward through some of the Narkina 5 stuff, and the interaction with the fisher folk after the escape, but everything else has held my attention; even those scenes I didn't watch this time have a lot of meat on their bones.
