I find the panic and "how dare you let people lose weight" about GLP-1 inhibitors to be instructive. Suffering is the ideal, and drugs that help people become healthier side step some of the suffering, therefore they are bad.
I don't understand where it comes from and I wonder if the backlash against public health is because whatever this thing is in these people knows that science will eventually figure it out and cure them if not hindered.
