Heck yeah. I'm *55* years old and placed in FIVE powerlifting competitions in 2025. Set a state record and then broke it at my next meet.
2026 goals:
110kg squat
55kg bench
150kg deadlift
Strong women get sh*t done.

You know. . . I was thinking about how we've been saying our society is no longer literate enough for satire and other genres comedy, and. . .
I also think our society can no longer do "realistic" movies and TV. We need to bring fantasy back to teach people that more is possible.

I read Iwan Rhys Morus's (excellent) book How the Victorians Took Us to the Moon early this year. It wasn't the main point, but one thing I got from it is how much of Victorian progress and abundance depended on colonialism, i.e. stealing other people's things.
