Here's the question.

The EHRC has briefed that the draft statutory guidance is basically the same as the Interim Guidance. So why, if the draft statutory guidance gets the law right, did the EHRC choose to take down the Interim Guidance in the face of our Judicial Review?

If Labour is continuing to lose votes, just got 11% in a by-election in a seat they've held for 100 years and in a few recent polls is equal to or just behind the Greens maybe we should stop suggesting they're the only thing that can defeat Reform.

That’s literally what an ICE agent said when ICE, the FBI et al. raided an apartment in Chicago, including with a Blackhawk helicopter, separated children from their parents, and zip-tied them to each other.

Labour's strategy since the election seems designed to appeal to right-conservative voters.

This strategy hasn't worked on its own terms because they have lost the (very few) right-wing voters that they had, while also losing (much) larger numbers of left-wing voters.

Everyone is rushing to defend Graham Linehan as some martyr to free speech but don't actually state what he tweeted. He explicitly called for people to violently assault trans women in the bathroom.

In another instance, he cyberstalked a trans minor. He's legitimately a danger to trans people.

I think the notable thing about this stuff isn't that someone is saying it, but that all the mechanisms for asking "lads, have we gone too far here?" seem to have been snapped off and can't be repaired.
Some people might say the same about Robert Jenrick.
We are talking about vulnerable people who have fled unimaginable horrors and are often facing massive trauma. They need support, safety and security, not dehumanising treatment for seeking asylum.

That is terrorism. Not pating planes.

Will the government act, or are they too gutless?
