People have asked who would/should even take over if Schumer gets ousted. Might I recommend:
I’ve voted 7 times to reopen the government in a way that holds Trump accountable for his lawlessness and prevents a health care crisis.
I’m prepared to work toward a compromise, but this “deal” before us does not come close to meeting those terms. Voting NO.

NOAA cut funding to the Alaska Earthquake Center, directed by my friend Mike West. As a result, seismic monitoring by nine stations in Alaska tracking tsunami-causing earthquakes will go offline by the end of the month. This endangers people in Alaska, Hawaiʻi, and other parts of the Pacific.
This lab is key for tracking deadly waves. Its sensors are about to go offline.

So looking at the actual SF chronicle article, the only place this song is accruing notice is on Spotify, which is easily gamed by bots. If I were an AI proponent who desperately needed to boost the validity of my investment, this is exactly what I’d do.

The Suica penguin has been the face of JR East's popular IC transit card since its inception in 2001. Now, the company says it will replace the iconic character with an as-yet-unannounced mascot. That's left fans both perplexed and irate.

Even if it turns out the vote wasn’t Schumer’s fault, it would still be objectively funny if he’s forced to leave over it. He’s been useless for years tbh

MoveOn?! Oh my god the tide might actually be turning
MoveOn, Indivisible, Our Revolution, and 6 Democrats have called on Chuck Schumer to step aside as leader.
So we asked all 40 Democratic senators who didn’t cave to Republicans if they still think Schumer is the right leader.
Here's what they said.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

"Scared of Charlotte" is a whole new level of "scared of cities" that I'd never even considered possible
Rep. Pat Harrigan: "I have asked Josh Stein, our governor, to consider working with President Trump to allow the National Guard to come into Charlotte ... use the National Guard as a force multiplier and they can a lot of load off the Charlotte PD."

Was there not a “James Bond Will Return” at the end of the credits? Did I hallucinate that?
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”
Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:
“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

If I had Musk money I’d literally just go traveling for a few years and then buy a nice apartment in Manhattan with which to start my acting career. Adopt a few senior cats, secure in the knowledge that all their vet bills are covered. Take regular Acela visits to my parents and Dougiecat in DC
(She made a point about Musk that way too often goes without saying: He is a totally joyless man, so miserable he can hardly tolerate himself)
