Every single democratic senator voted to confirm Marco Rubio as Secretary of State. Every single one. Not one “no” vote.
Q: Do you stand by your statement from earlier this year that nobody has died from USAID cuts?

RUBIO: I'm very proud of the changes we've made in foreign aid

the interesting question here is whether it just blames left and concludes they need common sense centrist solutions or whether it acknowledged that running a guy who was brain dead on a message of "more of the same" when the same included genocide was a mistake
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

It feels like I've run out of things to say about the Democrats.

When we're almost a full year into this and they're still voting for Trump's nominees, I'm not sure how you can make the case that the party is salvageable.

Of course @slotkin.senate.gov is on this list. I am ashamed I voted for you. Never again and I will encourage anyone to do the same.
16 Democratic senators joined Republicans in confirming a close ally of Elon Musk as head of NASA:

Baldwin
Cantwell
Durbin
Fetterman
Gallego
Gillibrand
Hassan
Heinrich
Kaine
Kelly
Kim
King
Schiff
Shaheen

I think it’s bad that the median Democratic position when it comes to trying to talk some sense into Republicans is to be like, ‘Remember when you guys were sensible like Ronald Reagan?’

A party that constantly has to hand it to Ronald Reagan every chance they get is not a party that represents me.
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

ditto
Some Dems have told themselves only ~1% of the population is trans so they can dip their toe in the anti-trans filth and come out clean.

I don't have any trans family members—but it still makes me irate. I see it as a huge red flag, a sign you are unprincipled and untrustworthy. And I'm not alone.
We are parents of a trans kid and our family takes this very, very personally. If you intentionally make life harder for our beloved daughter, it’s EXTREMELY hard to think of you as an ally, to say the least. @amyklobuchar.com - you still send us requests for money, while hurting our kid. Disgusted.

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

This is what’s so frustrating about U.S. gun laws. Last I checked, almost 90% of Americans support the most basic safeguards like universal background checks. But we know something like that, however humble, will never become law because we don’t live in a democracy.
I'm reading a piece about how Australia is already tightening its gun laws, less than 48 hours after the Bondi Beach shooting. The piece points out that 64% of Aussies favor stricter gun laws.

So do 60% of Americans, but our elected reps don't give a damn.

I know Peters will not be running for reelection but goddamn Slotkin is just plain awful.
Primary them all and block anybody who comes with the “at this crucial juncture the most important thing is that we win.” if they believed that they wouldn’t do this and with friends like them nobody needs enemies
