People blocking you, whether artisinally or via blocklist, are doing you the courtesy of signaling that you will not vibe well with each other and self-selecting out of the pool of people on Bluesky you will potentially have to deal with.
Blocking hatemongers is one thing but this trend of using mass block lists to avoid hearing from people who might or might not hold points of view you expect to disagree with is unhealthy imo and hurts the platform.
Bluesky was better off with folks like Margaret Mitchell and Giada Pistilli on it.

Fun fact about the Salvation Army: they use a form of substance use treatment called work therapy. Oh, and by treatment, I mean they have people who have been convicted of drug charges work for their stores & warehouses in exchange for room, board, around a $1 a week, and minimal actual therapy.

I think Bluesky CEO was supposed to be a little resume plumping detour but then users flooded in from Twitter and Boss Lady was briefly seduced by the idea of being a Riot Grrrl Anti-Caesar… until actual decisions had to be made. Then she began to resent the users for ruining her cosplay
