This is part of the problem with Congress being so supine and inactive. A plan for a post-Trump order needs to think hard about how to empower Congress but also how to get the sort of people in Congress who want to *do things* and will assert the powers of the branch.

One thing I really hope CRPGs in future borrow from Baldur's Gate 3 is the Dark Urge origin. That is, an option to say 'I want my own custom character but I also want my own personal quest and backstory and for the DM to fuck me up sometimes'.
An option to tell the game 'I trust you. Cut loose'.

when i was a kid i remember my dad and uncle and a bunch of local guys would get together with their guitars and banjos and just jam over a bonfire with shitty beer. i've always wanted to get that energy into my adulthood but the suburbs suck for wholesome trailer trash activities
i am not claiming it would fix everything, but i don’t think it would hurt for every angsty zoomer and millennial and x-er who spends 16 hours a day being Mad Online to pick up an instrument and learn to play it just badly enough to play along with other angsty zoomers and millennials and x-ers
