A wikipedia hole led me to the absolutely insane work of alternative manga artist Yamamoto Naoki, an artist known for a combination of heartwarming coming-of-age stories and surrealist pornography.

Tommaso Ciampa and I are the same age, same height, same build, and same hair, thus every time I look at him all I can think is “goddamn diet and exercise 😓”

Mamoru Hosada's new film, Scarlet, is getting a NA release in IMAX tomorrow and apparently the promotional push for it started *this week*.

Start the day with a nice warm glass of h2o2

Mmm, mmm, mmm, so much highly excitable oxygen just waiting to bond with your cells!

GP-log is the worst colour space. It's not even a technical tool, it is a divine curse sent to punish me. GoPro invented it for the singular purpose of turning me into an anti-technology extremist hell-bent on returning humanity to the trees. It's like a cognitohazard packaged into every GoPro.

The Pitt got greenlit for a season 3, out next February, and the announcement has very funny comment from HBO chairman Casey Bloys that’s like “yeah, turns out if you just make a TV show like how we used to make TV shows you can have a 15+ episode season every year 🤷‍♂️”

Willow’s gear looks amazing, but the stream compression can’t handle all the detail in the lace and it just turns into a smear whenever she moves.

I wonder if Team Cherry are going to shadow drop Sea of Sorrow.

Like, they wanted to shadow drop Silksong, but Nintendo was like "please don't" and their dev friends were like "please don't", so they didn't, because shadow dropping one of the biggest games of the year is a dick move.

"Writing Month" has gone well (barring Jarhead taking an extra week and a half to finish) with substantial progress on two feature videos, a complete script for one shorter video, and one mini video written, recorded, edited, and posted in a one-afternoon berserker fugue.

Alright, great idea for a terrible Magic draft: everyone brings three different drafts packs from any set.

Do you try and game your odds with with the first pick from a high powered Innistrad pack or burden your friends with mandatory Homelands pulls?

Finally rolled credits on E33.

Part of me wants to be like “ooh, two cakes!” but the rest of me is like “it’s no Silksong”

What are the wildest video game promo events you can remember?

Things like game reviewers being brought out to the gun range to shoot a .50 cal or SAW.

People gripe about The Pop Chords, but if you watch any music theory YouTube you'll hear a phrase like "and then because we're in B-sharp the raised major with a depressed freshman dictates that the following note is a G-SSJ4" because music is shockingly algorithmic.

I keep getting this PSA and I just cannot figure out what this photo has to do with anything else about the spot.

Is it “pottery, not pot”? Is that the bit? Is the guy named Herb and he’s striking out? Is he cursed to be bad at pottery?

WTF do these characters have to do with not getting high?!

Expedition 33 is kinda weird in that your characters are constantly running around splattered with gore as they hang out with the cast of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth.

This whole saga has been both infuriating and hilarious because it was simply never worth it: WestJet started re-configuring planes to add another row, but this is the thing: it's only one more row. Anyone without a middle manager brain slug puppeteer them can do the math.

WestJet reversing move to install tight seating layout | CBC News
In the wake of a backlash sparked by a viral video, WestJet has cancelled a new seat configuration that squeezed an extra row on board many of its planes and left passengers with less legroom.

Okay, last night’s episode of The Pitt is clearly foreshadowing that Al-Hashimi is going to get sued because her chatbot is going to make a mistake that she’s too busy to proofread, so how is that going to only kinda happen?
