I know this is neither a controversial nor, given the showrunner and lead, an unexpected take. But Pluribus is so good.

Every office has an executive tier whose emails are like:

saw on news , , can we replce complianc dept with web 3

and a worker tier whose emails are like:

Dear Jim,
First of all, I *love* this idea! Unfortunately, I spoke with Legal and identified a few issues with this approach. For starters…
Well, it's a little clearer now why billionaires are so invested in technology that produces better written emails.

OK sure, high earners getting half price £10K bikes is a less than ideal unintended consequence of this tax policy.

But £130m is frankly peanuts in public spending terms, most people aren't spending £10K and *this* is the dysfunction of the UK tax system you've chosen to focus on?

Filming people without their consent to shame them on your socials is absolutely weapons-grade arsehole behaviour. Even if you don't show their faces. It makes the world that bit worse and compounds the arseholery that you're shaming.

The best Chelsea Hotel fact is that the last ever guest at the Chelsea Hotel before it closed was Reg Hollis off of The Bill. He refused to leave and called the cops
More fantastic Arena documentary on BBC Four right now. The Chelsea Hotel in New York this week, and of course Quentin Crisp has turned up.

This really is the pits. This is not a design that — whatever you think of them — Saudi Arabia, the organisers of the 2034 World Cup have anything to do with. Has popped up randomly on social, caught fire and now pushed for attention by the Mail. Pathetic business.

This New Yorker documentary about the 1988 UK government ban on broadcasting the voices of Sinn Féin and I.R.A. leaders is pretty good but they show *that clip from The Day Today with no explanation and no indicator that it is satire.

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? I don’t mean “cheating on your partner” stupid, I mean stupid stupid. Like, once, I had this bubble bath which smelled absolutely delicious, so I took a big glug of it. That kind of stupid. (It did not taste delicious.)
