I'm thinking more about this and I think industrial music keeps re-evolving from first principles because the conditions that produced it are everywhere
Much like "crab", industrial music is constantly re-evolving from first principles basically anywhere where there's a bunch of metal and plastic laying about

If you're wondering why they don't go to court with their high paid lawyers for an easy win, it's because this allows Google to bribe Trump.

To any money obsessed hog farmers moonlighting as governors entertaining the notion of building an ill conceived, immoral prison camp, all while their state finances are already in shambles, I would direct your gaze to the below.
So....

1)The state of Florida spent >$200 million to build the facility it calls "Alligator Alcatraz"

2) It opened in early July, christened by Trump.

3) Now it is closing, due to a judge's order.

4) It will cost $20 million to dismantle the center, which was used for about 2 months.

Have your computer literally scream at you when you tried to get online probably helped with this, too
Yes, and it made the whole internet feel like "a place" you visited, put a psychological fence of sorts around it, kept it distinct from the "real world." I still prefer to think of it that way.
One of the superpowers of coming up on late 90s / early 00s forums is an ingrained sense of a barrier between IRL life & The Internet, which is a place, its own distinct hellworld where nothing is real. Makes it easy to not fall for all the fake BS when you inherently view Online as 99% shenanigans

You're living through a major technological revolution right now and it has nothing to do with AI.

The United States is in danger of missing it and getting left behind because our corrupt President wants us to be buyers-of-last-resort for fossil fuels owned by his paymasters in KSA and Russia.
China's July 2025 solar production was ~50% higher than its July 2024 solar output!

China's solar generated 839 TWh in 2024 and will likely exceed 1,200 TWh in 2025.

China's solar will generate in 2025 an amount of electricity equal to about 27% of USA's electricity demand. #energysky

Hilarious getting fact checked by the cited author but anyone who has glanced at ancient demography could tell the data there is hallucinated BS - the evidence simply does not exist to estimate those figures.
