Democratic party leadership has been on autopilot for ten years, they weren't losing to fascism, fascism isn't popular enough for them to lose to fascism, they were allowing it to fill the void where their leadership should have been. 1. whoa I got an idea that would be really cool to draw
2. now I just need to create a world around it to lead to that happening and I’ll get to draw it in several months

When making a comic for example, you find yourself in deep water a lot. That scene you had an idea for? You don't really know how to block it out, how to make it come to life. So you research, you think, you work. AI bros think just having the idea is the thing. It's barely the entry point.
This is a fundamental realisation that it took me years to come to.
The enjoyment of art comes from the countless hidden decisions that were made slowly, which you as an audience enjoy quickly.
The speed of consumption renders the craft invisible, magical.
Creation at speed can’t do this.

Even a fine-tuned prompt involves orders of magnitude fewer choices vs writing a short story, painting a little picture, etc etc
