I've never understood how people just don't seem to get it, it's *never* been about protecting women in bathrooms (or sports, or wherever) it's about 'othering' people and stripping their (and then your) rights.
A series of giant dominos, labelled Trans rights, then gay rights, freedom of expression, women's rights, free love, free speech, democracy, freedom of religion, modernity, literacy. Groups of people are stood at the bases of each 'domino', propping them up. The trans one is leaning precariously and people at the other dominos further down the line are pointing it out and calling for support. Underneath it all are the words UNITED WE STAND. DIVIDED WE FALL. You may not be trans, you may not be gay, you might not be a woman. You may be *lucky* enough to be a straight white healthy man but eventually they'll get to your domino, whatever that may be.

Day's barely started and hurting already so cocodamol with breakfast & scrubbing plans to do anything as strenuous as yesterday's [checks notes] painting a single miniature. Instead, going to have a refresher on the worst/best* Bond film then see how we go 🤞

Feet up in front of a TV playing possibly the worst* Bond movie, or the best, depending on your tolerance for charisma-vacuum models pretending to be actors and no doubt numerous other failings that I will be reminded of shortly, versus some pretty locations. The last time I watched this was many years ago and I have recently watched ALL of the Hellraiser series, Holiday on the Buses and Witchcraft 1 and 2 so in comparison to those this may now receive a standing ovation. If I'm up to standing. *Casino Royale and Never say never again notwithstanding.

Had to look up the only Panto I was ever taken to, thanks to @pantosplaining.bsky.social nudging some repressed memories. I know I saw Stu Francis, but had no memory of Ruth Madoc, Olive from off of On the buses and THE FUCKING CHUCKLE BROTHERS in 1984/85 o_O
A poster for that most famous of Pantomimes, "Robin Hood" Stu "Crush a grape" Francis and Ruth "Chief Yellowcoat" Madoc are joint stars, followed by Kim Braden, Anna Karen, Douglas Fielding and then, dear God, The Chuckle Brothers. The only thing I remember about it is *not* getting an "Oooh I could crush a grape" T-shirt from the foyer after the show.

Well I guess that was a productive day, got another bottle-wielding Mega City 1 block maniac sorted before I got too uncomfortable today.
Kinda got a bit of a sports theme going on.
A miniature of a mega city one resident from Willie Aames block, facing off against another from Dave Prowse block. There's a three pronged logo in the base of their back with a white square below, it could be some from of three pronged exclamation mark. Straight on at their back for this last shot.

Really glad I was able to take Flo out on Saturday, even if it was only for a few short hours and crashed out after as a result. Better today but still almost midday before I've been able to haul myself outside today to try & distract myself from being like this. Anyway, let's see what I can manage.

The Labour government needs to help the BBC stand up for itself and clear out those forces that want the BBC to fail.

Never knowingly listened to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin Deep Purple or Black Sabbath. Got enough stick for my (shall we say nonconformist) musical tastes as a teen so actively choosing to listen to "old farts' music"* was a non starter.
