I've never understood how people just don't seem to get it, it's *never* been about protecting women in bathrooms (or sports, or wherever) it's about 'othering' people and stripping their (and then your) rights.
If quarks weren't named so we'd (likely) not have had Sir Pterry naming the five fundamental constituents of magic Up, Down, Sideways, Sex Appeal and Peppermint.
quark names piss me off so bad. “up down top bottom charm strange” those are notttt adjectives to describe the building blocks of the universe, those are half-assed TTRPG attributes made by a terribly depressed homosexual

Mum had a cataract op at the weekend and, after taking her down to the opticians, has found she's allergic to both the antibiotics in the eye drops she was given. Fortunately, was able to pick Flo up from work while talking mum to the opticians but am absolutely clapped out now.

Managed to drive Flo to work this morning and now back in bed again as that's me done for a while. Need to try and get my strength back for picking her up at the end of the day. This is my life now, it seems :/

In the Shadowrun video game on Genesis there’s a secret side quest where you can find a bunch of emails between corporations planning to cause a nuclear reactor meltdown in an extremely poor part of town and I keep expecting those exact emails to show up in these drops.

Rough day today. Decided to watch the original cut of Blade Runner after @smershpod.com & @mitchbenn.bsky.social covered it recently. Started it around midday, but had to take so many breaks to go lay down I've only just finished it. Mousecow seemed to enjoy it though.
