Hi, I’m Emma, an illustrator, comic artist, and sculptor with a propensity for drawing dinosaurs, monsters, aliens, and spaceships, but especially dinosaurs.

I'm working on a sci-fi story with all of the above. Except dinosaurs, oddly no dinosaurs.

I don't understand why artists in other fields decide to use AI. You took the time to cultivate skills, why would you just use a slop spewing lie machine to make visual art?

I'm learning how to use words like colors to craft a novel and develop a new skillset.

Respect other artists stop using AI!

I basically started this one over from scratch. I didn’t like the shape of it or the poses.

This is a much better shape for a sticker and the poses are far more dynamic than the original color sketch.

Last year saw my art get angry and bloody.

I’m just so tired of the world and the hatred of powerful men.

This year I’m focusing on writing my sci-fi story, which I’m trying to not make angry and bloody.

So the art will likely continue to be the outlet of my anger.

Just a shout out to all of the paleontologists out there that go out in the field, do all the research, and publish papers.

I wouldn't be able to do what I do without all of the scientific papers, photos of fossils, skeletal diagrams, books, and the work of other paleo artists.

Trying to make happy art again...

I added another family of stargazers off in the distance.

I was at Crater Lake once and wondered if animals took time to enjoy the beauty of their surroundings and at that moment a pika climbed to the tip of a volcanic spire and just looked out at the valley.

I now have progressive lenses, I just had a mammogram, and I have a colonoscopy planned for later this year.

These utahraptors starting the right kind of fires are one such example... Turns out, sometimes fire *is* the answer

I knew there was a postal rate increase coming, but I was not expecting priority flat rate envelopes to increase by $2.

For those complaining about it costing $10 for me to ship prints, I may actually need to increase my shipping costs.

Again I'll reiterate, prints don't qualify as media mail.
