I’ve never done this before. Will regret too many responses. Will regret embarrassed silence.
This reference always takes me by surprise. From Stray Bullets. I forget Sam Fax went international. Feels 1000% British

This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,

The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance

Iconic imo

There’s a publisher making art books. Consistently making high end art books about artists I nearly care about/respect but don’t excite me. Like 0/10 at this point. Incredible. Definitely not bad bad. Just…🤷‍♂️

I’m tired and would like to sit down. Don’t any of you other morons have something to say? There’s a lot going on in the world right now; I can’t be the only one who gives a shit.

This ingenious mashup of Shelley Duval’s Popeye and The Shining roles is such a great image. It’s not stop motion but you can really visualise the movement.

Glenn Fabry’s cover image for issue 3 of Preacher by Ennis and Dillon. If anyone spots this in the wild please snag it for Jamie Beamish as it’s his grail cover from episode 319

I’m lucky to own a high quality repro of the Cover to LoEG vol 2 and it makes me yearn for it all in b&w if not Artist Edition format

Any recommendations for an affordable quality scanner? I like ours but my wife feels the fidelity isn’t there.

This is a lovely little painting by my wife. I took it in trade for a little money owed. The line at the bottom says “sudden attack of happiness”. I love it.
