If there's a holiday, Marsha P Johnson had an outfit for it! In 1991, she celebrated the New Year in Randy Wicker's lighting shop with a tuxedo, pearl necklace, and party hat.

Thanks to trans men donating their tissue, we know the exact number of nerve fibers in the clitoris.

Marsha P. Johnson in her Christmas tiara is all I want for Christmas. This Polaroid was taken in Randy Wicker's lighting store in 1988. Another treasure from the NY LGBT Community Center archives. 😍

Why is the right so scared of the term "pregnant people"? Trans men get pregnant all the time. So do girls, unfortunately. It's not just women. The term "pregnant person" isn't just about inclusivity: it's also about accuracy.

When I was 15, this pill saved my life. Estrogen (and T blockers) were the only way I could escape a puberty that would leave me permanently uncomfortable with my body. Puberty can feel like permanent disfigurement for trans teens. Forcing trans teens into the wrong development is pure cruelty.

The Trump Administration just sent horrifying warning letters to 12 companies for offering binders. These compression tops aren't usually considered medical devices, but the FDA is demanding the companies register their products. It's a not-so-subtle threat to businesses supporting trans people.

Are trans athletes anything new? Nope! With this week’s moral panic over trans pool players, I wanted to highlight the 1910s-20s women's billiards world champion, Frances Anderson. Trans women like her have just as much a right to compete - and win - as anyone else.

There is, in fact, an easy solution to the transgender bathroom problem. Bigots can use one restroom and normal people who aren't trying to inspect your genitals can get the other.

Elon Musk could donate $50 million every day for the rest of his life and still remain a billionaire, but he won't.

Textbook case of how media produces racism. "Intifada" just means "resistance" in Arabic. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Seeing journalists exploit this tragedy to stir up anti-Muslim outrage before the shooters' motives were known was disgusting.

Best case scenario: a half-retired professor in his late 80s didn’t know who Bannon was in the 2010s.

Worst case scenario: Noam Chomsky duped millions with insincere, relatively watered-down stances on issues that don’t impact him personally.

Either way, Foucault wins again.

They're so desperate for Charlie Kirk's shooter to be trans that they're seeing clues that aren't there. Do you think it's possible Tyler Robinson is vying for a Trump pardon?

This is the first diagram I've ever seen with a masculine pregnant person! 😍

It's absolutely Nazi propaganda. Himmler personally ordered the creation of brothels to incentivize soldiers and enslaved laborers. He also forced "pink triangle" (queer) prisoners to visit the brothels weekly to "cure" them. Many of these institutions used children from concentration camps for sex.

The US has a proud history of providing asylum to Nazis when it's politically convenient (just look up Operation Paperclip).

Politicians are going to increase the minimum age of trans medicine to 32 soon.

This also isn't what the study says. The scientists identified average brain topography (organization of neural connections) by age, which doesn't map onto individuals or correspond with thinking.

I've never listened to a sports podcast before, but @pablo.show just changed that. His exposé on Riley Gaines reveals that she was actually supportive of queer athletes. But Riley’s changed her story so often that it was difficult to learn the truth… until Pablo spoke with her former teammates.

Trans women protesting outside Scottish Parliament this May.
I love it when trans women protest topless. If they're arrested, the state must admit they're women. If they aren't, it shows the glaring contradictions of labeling trans women as legally male. It helps their cause either way.

Weimar Germany was among the most supportive societies for trans people in the history of Europe. This colorized 1921 Willie Römer photo shows four trans people standing outside Magnus Hirschfeld's Institute for Sexual Science, 12 years before Nazis stormed the facility and burned its books.

I spoke with my friends at the Unwashed and Unruly podcast about trans history and today's moral panic. What can we learn from our transgender past that can help us now? I hope you'll learn more about historical trans resistance with us to find out. You can listen wherever you get your podcasts!

Just tried out my upgraded Olympic bow! Now I can keep winning matches against cis women to spite the anti-trans sports police. 🥇🏆
