I believe this is what people mean by "gooning"
Please enjoy this photo of the Horace and Jasper bodypillows my aunt crafted for me when I was 5 years old and brain-meltingly obsessed with 101 Dalmatians.

The cybertruck lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, spinning its wheels trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.
joining the "cybertruck owners only" group on fb is one of the best decisions i've ever made. every so often when i'm scrolling through fb getting pissed off, i get to see a little treat like this

so after being bedridden for 16months due to a hernia, I've finally got my surgery!
now I'm bedridden for recovery, fun!

I'm still about 1300$ away from paying all my storage bills, so if you've got a couple dollars, it'd help me get through this last stretch. Thanks so much!

From a similar period, "Kieron's the worst kind of writer you can have a magazine - we're not hiring Will Self" from a magazine editor was fun in the circa-2000 period, but Will Self is no longer as funny a comparison.

Oh yeah - the dig at my overwriting in my reviews as "HP Warcraft" was amazing.

I guess it's called "corruption." I've never heard that before. I said wow what a beautiful word. It comes from the Latin [spicy voice] corrumpere. But it's something we're doing and we'll be doing it perhaps more than ever before

"This story doesn't need a sandworm"

This is almost always wrong. Arguably, EVERY story benefits from adding a huge subterranean worm with quasi-mystical or semi-supernatural powers, or equivalent (similar to Moby Dick).

Obviously the bigger the worm, the more literary quality it adds.
