it’s very clear more democrats agreed with this deal but strategically had those who aren’t up for election soon do the dirty work. it doesn’t mean we can’t make their lives a living hell until & through then, and it doesn’t mean we should take the dems that performed “no” on here as being truthful

After the Rubygems drama, I felt frustrated that I can’t escape evil people trying to dominate my life.
I found myself mourning the future I thought we would have; but also hopeful that it’s not too late to start choosing kindness.

This is one aspect I hear some people muttering about but it’s not part of the broader conversation, and I think it’s currently under appreciated that this is true
Bespoke desktop and mobile environments are the future by the way. AI will make that happen

Does anyone know a way to get good GeoJSON for neighborhoods? Like the city of Austin publishes some but they’re related to the way the city is administered not the actual neighborhoods

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!
