Pinned
For posterity's sake, "Not thrilled to be spending another 4+ years thinking about your old pinned tweet" is a sentence said to me today
This is Jeff, a monster from a video game named The Cycle: Frontier

Jeff was the community nickname for him. “Marauder” was the real name.

Anyway when the game shut down I was mildly sad that, in a sense, Jeff had died.

Anyway the stuff around 4o is weird but on some level I do understand it

It is very odd to have today be like “ha ha yeah an AI did a callout post over open source drama” and then a few hours later being like “oooo Marathon open servers let’s gooo”

i have so many feelings about this and so little time to express them right now

but it's certainly A Thing and it's kind of amusing to see terrible people losing their minds about it
the xlibre guy is forking git to remove Rust from it

why do all of these people have the same set of beliefs. x good. Wayland bad. Trans people bad. C good. Vaccines bad. rust bad. Etc etc

a long time ago, we used to make markov chain twitter bots

i had made one off of all of my tweets. it was fun for a while

then it said some rude shit to one of my best friends. i didn't like that. i turned it off.

thinking about that again today. for some reason.

The ai debate on here is wild. There are a lot of anti-ai people who think it's crazy that anyone could be pro-ai, there are a few pro-ai people who think it's crazy that anyone could be anti-ai, and a middle group trying to realistically assess the situation. All three seem to hate each other

This is what the gop is going to face for the next 3 years. Stuttering delusional old white guys dumbfounded when someone replies “of course I am in favor of my constitutional rights, why do you hate this country?” every time they assert the secret police should be able to kill you for talking back.

KEITH ELLISON: I freely admit being in favor of the First Amendment
