Here's a short thread about it, some of its highlights, and noteworthy things that have happened related to it.

I use Tuta mail, but not because I believe any of their spiel about privacy, it's because I was using Yahoo before, and they gave me a notice like "hey we're gonna start reading your emails to serve targeted ads". I went looking for the email provider least likely to do that.

PSA: go.sum is not a lockfile.

You never need to look at go.sum.

go.mod has everything you need.
go.sum Is Not a Lockfile
In Go, go.mod acts as both manifest and lockfile. There is never a reason to look at go.sum.

Stopped in at #PDFC for a bit today. Was just a quick little run, but it was nice to stop on for a bit and be a silly little cat.

I don't know if Dante Dober has a bsky. I couldn't find anything definitively.

I feel much of this is due to e-mail being dominated by two providers (gmail and hotmail/outlook), and knowledge of how to administer e-mail is being lost outside of those orgs, as even business e-mail is getting outsourced to them.

As someone who's been running mail servers for 2 decades now (gods, I'm old), I totally agree with this. If anything, things seem to be getting worse, as I often see mail from otherwise reputable companies bounce because they don't even have SPF set up correctly, let alone DKIM.
