I kinda like reading this in Harvard’s student paper considering that the last public pronouncement Summers made before his shit hit the fan was a bullying threat to round up alumni to “investigate” The Crimson for its “moral bankruptcy” on supporting Palestine. Who’s being investigated now, Larry?!

I would die on the spot if someone who worked for me ever talked about me like this
A former Fetterman advisor texted me: “I think what comes across is the reality of who he is, which is a petulant child who never became a man and is always the victim of his own narrative—even though he’s never had a real job and lives off his dad’s money. It's all pretty sad and pathetic."

John Fetterman’s just-released memoir, Unfettered, argues that he’s turned a corner and has everything under control. Fetterman was a “stubborn asshole” (his words), he was clinically depressed, he wa...

It was only a matter of time and that time appears to be now: Winsconsin and Michigan have proposed laws to ban or severely curtail the use of VPNs, which could result in a cascade default ban everywhere.

People think this is outlandish prosecutory behavior, but charging arrestees with assault for injuries cops give themselves during arrest is quite common. In fact, people can be (and are) charged with felony murder when cops kill an innocent bystander or an accomplice when responding to a crime
A federal judge dismissed felony charges filed against an ICE arrestee based on "the scrapes on an ICE agent’s hand after the agent punched a hole in his car window—a use of force that the judge found to be unconstitutionally excessive." @qjurecic.bsky.social]
The Trump Administration’s Favorite Tool for Criminalizing Dissent
Federal prosecutors have charged more than 100 people with Section 111 violations. Was their crime anything more than opposing Trump’s immigration policies?

We found that Donald Trump has granted clemency in at least a dozen criminal cases that originated during his first term.

No president since Clinton has used clemency to erase his own appointees’ actions on such a scale.

This guy and the guy driving drunk with his kids in the car both responded with “hey boys, I’m ICE” without understanding the code of silence doesn’t work between different agencies. It’s almost as if they only understand police through tv shows and movies. As if they’re playing make believe.

"When he was arrested, he said, 'I'm ICE, boys,'" Hodges said during a press conference Tuesday. "Well, unfortunately for him, we locked him up."
