I’m old enough to remember when Conservative Party leaders believed in law and order.
Kemi Badenoch refusing to acknowledge that Tommy Robinson is "far-right", now on LBC, and refusing to condemn Elon Musk's words. In fact she says what Musk said *isn't* incitement. So what would be incitement then? How violent would his words have to be before he was deemed a threat to this country?

Elon Musk is a deeply irresponsible man and all party leaders should call him out.

Reform's plan - take up to £2 billion from taxpayers, and give it to the Taliban so they can kill and torture more people.
It would be messy and chaotic and crazy expensive but ultimately Reform can override courts if they have a majority and I don't see why, say, the Taliban wouldn't sign a returns agreement to get back people they would like to torture and kill. So yes it could work.
One of two very good threads by Adam on this. A startling number of people - responding, in part, by the tone set by their government - just have this very complacent 'oh, no, this plan will never work'. I mean, 1) it could but also 2) they will definitely try.

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it.

The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.

But the trouble is the government rejected this option. It has not rejected immigration. It has rejected honesty. It has rejected leadership. In that sense it is no worse than the administrations came before it. But for a little while there, just for a moment, there was a chance it might be better.

They deserve better. And honestly the British public deserves better than to be constantly lied to by a political class which attacks immigration and then makes damn sure it continues because the economic consequences of the alternative would be disastrous.

If voters want Reform policies they should vote Reform.
Labour has a proud history of justice and internationalism. Hinder is in the wrong party.

Here we are a decade later thriving, selling a million pints a year of the beer we like to people who like our beer, and we haven’t even looked at Untappd in years. It’s an irrelevance. Why are we posting this today? Is there a lesson to learn? Probably not, no. Have a nice day.

When we first started out Untappd was a thing. The Untappd crowd wanted hoppy IPAs so we tried doing that. No good though, they wanted them hoppier. We tried to appease them by going hoppier. Still not hoppy enough. So we sacked then off, did what we wanted.

Astonishing that Labour have jumped straight to the exhausted "more of the same only harder" stage of their administration, without first passing through the radical first parliament and steady-as-she-goes second parliament stages.

The result is a betrayal of their voters on an unparalleled scale.

Labour losing one of its safest seats shows what happens when a government cuts disability benefits and winter fuel payments, keeps the two-child benefit cap, and panders to anti-migrant rhetoric:

Reform wins and always will.

This isn’t the change people voted for and it shows.

Politics is about whose side you’re on.

Kemi Badenoch has just shown she is on the side of JD Vance rather than our brave armed forces and the families who’ve lost loved ones in conflicts over the past 40 years.
