IT’S NOT EVEN A GOOD WEBSITE
Apologies, this might be our last post for a while as we've just been arrested by the woke police for saying Christmas. These days if you say Christmas you'll be arrested and thrown in jail.
Do you have someone in your life who likes beer, coffee and smells? Do they have a birthday or a Christmas coming up? Then why not get them this? WHY NOT GET THEM THIS?

What's 7.5%, absolutely packed with peaches and definitely doesn't infringe on anyone's image rights? You're absolutely correct, it's Idris Melba! Cans are on the webshop now, and it's also on tap at Vessel!

Due to an unfortunate typo at the can printers we are delighted to announce the release of our new Belgian-style tripe.

Here's a thing: 2 or 3 times a week we get people asking for free beer to sponsor art events and all they ever offer is exposure via putting our logo on their socials. Shite. Nope. Here's another thing: we like art. Offer to swap your art for our beer and we're all ears.

Brewed an extra strong beer with a monster-sized mash on Halloween. Would have posted the video on here but unfortunately couldn't think of a suitable song to soundtrack it.

Quoting ourselves here, but it’s absolutely insane to us that anyone still uses Twitter. You don't have to. You can just stop. It was a *massive* part of our growth but you can just let it go. However important your business is to you, it's less important than this:
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits"
"And so one day, 1,000 people show up in your village of 500 and start raping the kids"
"This has now happened, God knows how many times in Britain"

If we tried to make our employees sleep on the brewery floor they would murder us and they’d be 100% right to do it and no court in the land would send them down.
Absolutely obsessed with framing your employees sleeping on the floor as a humble brag
“Look how hard my team works” no dude you’re just bad at project management.
Competent companies ship products without cosplaying being homeless

It's a niche interest so by way of background, after a period of phenomenal success a few years back they've been in the doldrums for a good while. With a dwindling fanbase dining out on past glories while facing a seemingly irreversible decline, Brewdog are a brewery based in Ellon, Aberdeeenshire.

Look, we hate craft beer as much as the next person but it's rapidly approaching the end of 2025 and we've just seen a fairly well known satirical spoof news site doing a story about how there's lots of IPAs with stupid names and hipsters like them. Mind boggling.

Decided it would be a good idea if we added something to the frontage that told people what Vessel actually is. Please send us the business and marketing awards now.

That's 99 Google reviews for Vessel, averaging 4.9. Want to be the 100th? Book now and IT COULD BE YOU!
vesselbars.co.uk
You could also be the 26th Tripadvisor review (the eagle-eyed amongst you will note that's also at 4.9) but that does seem slightly less of a milestone tbf.

A moody shot of a misty Dublin dock in the early morning. As the camera pans across something is burning in the background for some reason. Arthur Guinness looks at the various stickers on the lid of his 2019 Macbook Air, flips it open and logs on to the Bunzl website to order a new squeegee handle.
Some people saying House Of Guinness isn't a realistic portrayal of brewery life while other people are saying it's really boring and nothing happens, lads you can't have it both ways.
Bold of the guy who made Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows to try the same trick again with House Of Guinness. Sorry pal, but not sure the beer community will be receptive to endless repetitions of basically exactly the same thing!

Back in 2017 we brewed a Dark Mild with our (genuine, not made up for social media) friend Tim at Fell. Now he’s up here and we’re brewing exactly the same beer again, just because we fancy it. So that’s nice.

Please note that while the shop at the brewery will be open as usual today there may be some disturbance caused as we’ll also have a collection of former Labour MPs in there attempting to organise a piss-up.

When we did our Brewing & Distilling MScs one of us genuinely did a literature review on the science of hangovers and the major takeaway was do not ever - DO NOT EVER - watch the first ten minutes of Up with a hangover.
