First off. Hell yes to this man because he understands how powerful his platform is and made sure to call something out many people would have not seen otherwise.

And I love that the Athletic made sure to find the most serious Bron photo art they could lol
LeBron James voiced his opinion on the incident involving a Texas state trooper at the Gamecocks-Aggies game.

The state trooper was "relieved of his game day assignment.”

I’m thinking the Dems need to run on nothing less than remaking American democracy.

End Citizens United, totally reform the corrupt and broken SCOTUS, a new voting rights act, ban gerrymandering everywhere.

And give Trump figures who broke the law fair trials, and ban them from federal jobs.

Agreed, although "dozen" is off by a couple orders of magnitude.
I will say it again; the Democrats need openly create a list of civil servants called the Dirty Dozen that will be subject to impeachment in 2026, The Constitution provides that “… all civil Officers of the United States” are subject to removal from office upon impeachment.”

Namby/Pamby 2026 will not save democracy.

We need fighters, reformers, and passionate progressives who will demand real change, real accountability, and real consequences.
This is could well be a historic midterm for Democrats.

Don’t waste it on centrists who won’t come through when it matters. Run vocal progressives.

You won’t end Trumpism without anti-corruption crusaders and warriors for social and economic justice who believe in taxes & big, universal programs.
Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵

Something the US needs to accept too is that without a large-scale correction imposing consequences on a large number of people, the crisis of governance here will continue indefinitely

bring the hammer down on the corrupt self-dealing politicians and their rich friends and there are no sacred cows id give a pass”

I just walked out of federal court where I pleaded NOT GUILTY to the charges against me.

I will continue to stand up to authoritarianism and call this out for what it is: a political prosecution.

We can still have this. The money is there. We just have to wrest it from the grasp of rich scumbags.
81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

Gotta be honest and I know this is a privileged take but I don’t actually care that much about health insurance premiums or rising costs of groceries. I care much more about the rampant lawlessness of this administration and I wish congressional Dems did too.

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

Just noticed on an old VHS that Robert Patrick was wearing a NIN shirt when he was 3D scanned for the T-1000. That would have been 1990, so he was proudly supporting his brother Richard Patrick, who was in a new band called Nine Inch Nails at the time.

If we ever get back to proper rule of law constitutionalism, the presidential pardon power needs to be curbed if not abrogated. Require senate supermajority approval, at minimum.
Trump just celebrated Schumer's cave by pardoning 75+ co-conspirators including Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, and Sidney Powell, for their efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.
so currently defectors are:
