Today I visited the concentration camp (Thereseinstadt) where my ggrandfather was imprisoned. It's something I fairly consciously avoided doing in the 12 years I lived in Europe. It was, as you may imagine, a fairly emotionally charged thing for me.
Evergreen skeet.
i am once again asking everyone who feels bad about working at a fascist agency to quit the agency

It’s almost as if he wants to create the political conditions for a pissed off electorate to demand Medicare for All just so he can go back to the private sector, shatter his old company’s $1.7B health care fraud record, and get away with it again
Rick Scott told me his plan would be to take all of the remaining ACA subsidies and redistribute them to HSA accounts and people can then buy whatever insurance a state certifies. Basically a repeal/replace.
He denied when I asked wouldn’t that create two-tiered system where sick pay much more…

The term of art for this in a bankruptcy court is "fraudulent conveyance". Stealing money that isn't yours and then transferring it to a third party to defraud creditors is also a crime. It doesn't eliminate the possibility for judgment on the first charge.

IF ONLY SOMEONE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY PREDICTED THAT THE TERRORISTS RUNNING THE COUNTRY WERE NOT NEGOTIATING IN GOOD FAITH.
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.

I think they need to be even more straight forward and avoid euphemisms.

"Contacted for a comment, a spokesman instead repeatedly dodged the question, and instead explicitly lied to the reporter."
FWIW, I have noticed on a few occasions a story noting something like, "Contacted for a comment, a spokesman ignored several questions and instead insulted the reporter."

In September, federal agents swarmed a Hyundai manufacturing site, detaining more than 500 workers, including more than 300 from South Korea.

Now, nearly 200 detainees are preparing to sue ICE, alleging human rights violations and unlawful arrest.
These South Korean workers came to the US to build an EV battery plant. They left in shackles. They still want to know why

What type of gun is this?
