Today I visited the concentration camp (Thereseinstadt) where my ggrandfather was imprisoned. It's something I fairly consciously avoided doing in the 12 years I lived in Europe. It was, as you may imagine, a fairly emotionally charged thing for me.

"Trump voters urge him to tone down the rhetoric and focus more on domestic issues, especially clearer pathways to legal status for law-abiding immigrants", proving they unaccountably had no clue who they were voting for.

Ok, but how about the public streets that lead to them? Could the city-county just tear up the streets and render the concentration camps unreachable? How about power/water lines?
I’ve seen a lot of questions on these lines, and the quick answer is that once the federal government purchases the property (including the land the warehouse sits on), local governments cannot regulate them or tax them. They are now federal properties and so the Supremacy Clause applies.
Aren't warehouses usually zoned as 'Commercial/Industrial' properties?

So, then why are they being used as 'Residential'!?

Am I wrong?

Your regular reminder that these are planned to be literal concentration camps.
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

The far-right hates liberalism in part because liberalism empowered women socially, politically, and economically, and so made them less dependent on settling for a mediocre man to provide for them. So they want to destroy liberalism to return women to a state of powerlessness and dependence.

The document is a how-to guide for subjugating girls & young women: a detailed plan to push them out of college, funnel them into early marriage and motherhood, and then trap them there.

The gestapo must be crushed by any means necessary.
Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.

Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

“orders the military to seize ballot boxes” is even more load-bearing; there are more than 116,000 polling locations in the united states, more ballot drop offs, and two states are mail-first, that’s an enormous logistical effort
This would be terrifying if control was actually going to come down to a small number of closer races. But it’s not, and nobody frothing into a panic over it will internalize that load bearing part of the speculation.
