For my family and yours, I'm running for Congress.

We cannot afford this broken system any longer. Higher premiums. Expensive groceries. A criminal administration's knee on our neck while the powerful pick our pockets. It's unsustainable and it must end.

I'm ready for the fight.

Abolish ICE. What we see cannot be reformed.

We should also end the 1033 program and reclaim controlled equipment still under DOD ownership like vehicles transferred to local police departments and instead ship them to Kyiv in the defense of Ukraine.
this is the same democrat who said ICE should be "held to the same standards as local police departments" while pretending local cops aren't getting military equipment from 1033 and training from dave "killology" grossman

abolish ICE. you cannot reform this shit. they didn't sign up for "training".
I won’t support additional funding for ICE unless we put guardrails in place to make sure ICE is better trained and actually focused on making our communities safer.

The press now has the media literacy of sheltered right-wingers.
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

This is not how appropriations work. Just because the funding expires, any policy in an appropriation remains in effect. This is a willful misunderstanding (or defiance) of a judicial order and a law of Congress.
BREAKING: On February 2, Sec. Noem issued a memo asserting the lapse in appropriations for DHS meant there is no Sec. 527 — the provision protecting congressional oversight visits to immigration detention facilities — and she was issuing a new (third) policy requiring seven-day notice for visits.

We saw this pattern in infrastructure cuts during the shutdown, cuts alleging social services fraud, cuts to contractors under DOGE: all targeted to blue states. It is an obviously partisan abuse of power, brazen and on a scale we simply have not seen before. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/a-year-on-...

This is part of a pattern that is impeachable: Trump cuts previously appropriated Congressional funds, but only to states led by Democrats (California, Colorado, Illinois and Minnesota).
The Trump administration plans to rescind $600 million in public health funds from four states led by Democrats because it finds the grants “inconsistent with agency priorities,” according to documents reviewed by the NYT

Imagine what these numbers would look like if there was a concerted effort by the opposition party to talk *up* immigration as a good thing that strengthens our country and enriches the cultural fabric.
Striking from Marquette poll:

Majorities of non-college grads and even 50% of rural Americans disapprove of ICE handling of enforcement. Majorities of both oppose deporting longtime residents with jobs/no criminal records.

That's data given to me. 2/
