Lmao people finding out that just giving the bully your lunch money doesn't mean he's gonna be your friend
Anyway I just heard that NYT, NBC, Politico, and NPR are being replaced in the Pentagon press room by, respectively, the New York Post, OANN, Brietbart, and HuffPo

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.

This is grossly irresponsible reporting by the AP. What’s being offered is not a buyout. The deal is if you agree to resign in September you can continue working remotely until then. There is no buyout or severance.

Right now, in America, 22 million workers make less than $15/hr. 40 million make less than $17/hr.

Shamefully, the federal minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009 and remains at $7.25/hr.

I asked Trump's nominee for Treasury if we should raise it.

His response?

"No sir."

just congenitally incapable of being an opposition party
The utter inability for Democrats to take a page from the McConnell playbook and oppose everything to force the majority party to bare the weight of passing its agenda continues to astound me. An unserious party composed of those unwilling to wield power.

80 Dem votes! It wouldn’t have passed without them. Unforgivable, no excuse for this
The National Defense Authorization Act, which enacts the first federal anti-lgbtq law in decades and targets the trans kids of military servicemembers, just passed with 80 Democratic votes.

Shameful.

Will get the list of dems who voted for it shortly.

Today in court a litigant in a case before mine broke down crying because they'd spent $67,000 on attorneys and the case still wasn't over, they were denied appointed counsel, and had to represent themselves, and as much as we talk about universal healthcare we also need universal right to counsel.
