Meanwhile, no word on the hunt for the killers of the teenager who couldn’t speak English.
Supposedly NYPD is eagerly on the hunt for whoever put these up because resources to quash people’s voices is priority numero uno for the NYPD under Eric Adams.

It’s really hard to scold people over civility in a system that dehumanizes everyone and it rings pretty hollow when people are more upset by jokes than the day to day humiliation that millions of people have to go through

The whole underlying thread up and down, but…

“Countries without private insurance tend to ration it”

Unlike in the US, I guess, where your claim has a one in three chance of being denied by an AI bot with a 90% error rate.
I'm also uncomfortable with people trying to solve America's structural problems with extrajudicial killings but you don't have to defend the US health insurance sector to make that point.

When my health insurance stopped covering insanely expensive meds that literally kept me out of the hospital, my GI took every sample bottle she could find in the city (called other docs too) and filled up a Ralph's bag with it and dropped it off at my house.

It's not the docs.
Health insurance industry PR is working overtime right now diverting blame to physicians for claim denials and rising costs. I feel compelled to remind everybody that Optum (UHC) is the largest employer of physicians in the US. We have never had less power in healthcare than we do right now.

Is that even technically a threat? Sounds like a friendly warning to me.
A Florida woman was charged Tuesday after police said she ended a call with BlueCross BlueShield with the words, “Delay, Deny, Depose. You people are next.”

She was charged with threats to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, and her bond was set at $100,000.

Brian Thompson was directly responsible for more American deaths and family bankruptcies than I can count. And it was all considered legal. He would never do a day in jail for causing all of that unnecessary suffering.

Décivilisation is actually the title of a book written by Renaud Camus, the French far-right author who invented the Great Replacement Theory.

Absolutely unconscionable.
The warning about "decivilization" didn't come after any one of a number of school shootings. It didn't come after January 6. It was after a health insurance company CEO's shooting wasn't received with national mourning:

Incredible news! Montana’s Supreme Court just affirmed that the state’s gender affirming care ban is likely unconstitutional.

This makes the state the first state Supreme Court to rule that trans medical care is protected.

This applies REGARDLESS of what the US Supreme Court does.
