The ICE and immigration story is ENORMOUSLY triggering to my generational holocaust trauma. I see the faces of my grandparents and dead family in every single person being disappeared and tortured by the US govt and I can only traumatize myself with it so much I have to set boundaries and that’s ok.
Reminder that you don’t have to traumatize yourself, you’re not obligated to do that as long as you’re staying informed and engaged. Many people will watch this and write about it and tell you the important things to know and it’s ok to protect your heart as much as you can
