Found out I accidentally deleted my entire website while trying to be sneaky on renewal costs with my hosting company. Trying to restore it and I'm now having conversations with an AI bot that might as well be in an alien language. Isn't technology fun!

Christ I wish Labour would just skip the foreplay and get rid of the useless prick.

Fuck it, I'll play. Convincing you to read my novel by the first sentence. Share yours if you want.

(This is the opening lines from Blood on the Motorway, available now in all evil bookstores, and the good ones too)

I suspect they know no one actually gives a shit about continuity in Bond films but they now have thousands of people taking about Bond films
November 11, 2025 at 10:54 AM
lots of funny ha ha responses to this but to me the solution is blindingly obvious - I always assumed in my head that James Bond is as much a title as 007, the two are the cover given to the agent when they join the service. It's why there's been 6 entirely different people who are Bond.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Starting the day off listening to Swans so either I'm gonna fuck this day right up or end up rocking back and forth on my chair, weeping. Can't wait to find out!

Went to see the Inside Number 9 stage show last night — if you're a fan at all, I HIGHLY recommend it. Laughed so much my sides ache this morning.

The billionaires can buy the newspapers and buy social media and buy attack ads, but they can't buy their way out of how much we fucking hate all of them.

Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's a car that goes really fast and gets really shitty gas mileage

My working definition of "successful book"
Write the book you would like to see someone pull from a higgledy piggledy pile in a secondhand shop 63 years after your death and say, "This looks fucking weird. I think I will buy it for Joan."

I would like to just take a moment to invite you to enjoy Cake's 1996 mega-hit 'The Distance'.

It's likely that you know this song, perhaps even love it. But just take a moment to revel in the utter masterpiece that it is.

Surrender yourself to it.

You deserve it.

I ran a silly music website that gave me such good friends that two of them travelled for miles to meet me for the first time at my actual wedding.

I learned about self publishing which allowed me to publish 5 novels and have a random person in Alabama call me their favourite author ever.
Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?
