Starting the day off listening to Swans so either I'm gonna fuck this day right up or end up rocking back and forth on my chair, weeping. Can't wait to find out!

One of the few actually gratifying things about being an author these days is seeing fresh reviews pop up on books that are years old. Lovely to see the Blood on the Motorway trilogy is still getting the love from people in the real world.

I know the BBC finds its own internal machinations fascinating but making a story about a sports presenter being fired over his views on Palestine the lead and burying the declaration of a total annexation and annihilation of the Palestinian people as the fourth story on the homepage speaks volumes

Picked up a few books in Oxfam earlier but particularly happy with this 1950’s edition of an absolute banger

Jesus fucking christ: 'By including authors' works in the training dataset, Meta's AI models can help promote and expose their writing to a broader audience.'

Burn it all to fucking cinders.

I decided to have a little chat with the Meta AI chatbot about this, and asked it to tell me the ending of the Blood on the Motorway trilogy. The result was fairly enlightening.
