Lidl have greatly improved the packaging on the spanish omelettes, much better for me. You can peel the lid off now and don't have to get icky wet hands trying to scissor it out. Also you can slice it in the packaging and pob it in your pan easily. Also microwaves more easily. Very good.

I have now seen the chicken flock, and I'm no chicken expert, but there seems to be three roosters (two big white ones who look like Foghorn Leghorn and a brown one) and a small selection of ornamental hens (black ones, one with a fluffy feather hat), in one shed in one garden.

Just had to disable the burglar alarm in the fusebox because it's making a noise and won't stop, and some clever sod wired the smoke detectors to the same switch as the burglar alarm, so let's hope nothing goes on fire
