The Arsenal carrying England, is it? Mister Wenger has done it again.

🎙️ New for Patrons!

I sat down with throw-in coach Thomas Grønnemark (ex-Liverpool, Brentford) about the rise of long throws and set pieces in the game.

🔺 What does a throw-in coach actually do?
🔺 The importance of maximising all margins
🔺 How to deal with increase in stoppages

It's somehow been 10 years (🤢) since I was nominated for Blogger of the Year, but despite that being my one and only nomination - why not vote for @arseblog.com?

There's a few other Arsenal nominees who need your help as well!
Hey folks, we've been nominated for Best Fan Media (Fran Merida) at the FSA Awards 2025.

If you could take the time to give us a vote, that'd be very much appreciated 🙏

Also vote Dec and Lotte too ;)

Haha that's an unbelievable goal from Doku. Been the best player on the pitch today.
November 9, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Well at least I don't need to bother watching the second half now.
November 9, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Robertson is not impeding Donnarumma there.
November 9, 2025 at 5:10 PM
All those Liverpool fans piling onto Gabriel yesterday, when this is your guy? Sweet Christmas.
November 9, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Liverpool have started well then.

I've seen enough

Do Myles + Ethan change that game state for us? Norgaard? I don’t think so. We just defended poorly at the end and got caught.

The obvious issue was that we had to drop deep because because all of our attackers are crocked. This group have given everything recently; one slip was coming eventually.
Entirely fair to think Arteta got it wrong today in those last 10 minutes, but apart from Hincapié - I don’t know who else he could’ve brought on.

We’re a brilliant defensive team and he banked on (gambled on) us being able to see it through. His trusted soldiers were all on the pitch + knackered.

You can't say anything about referees without being accused of saltiness, or sour grapes, but Craig Pawson was an embarrassment today.

Completely gave into the crowd (and Sunderland falling over) at every opportunity, with some bizarre decision making along the way. Shocking.

FT: Blimey. That was a workout - and I'm sitting on the sofa. Gutted not to take all three points but we were in a real battle today and couldn't get over the line with our energy reserves at 0%.

Showed great fight to get back, but there will be regrets about our defending. UGH!

I can't fucking believe this
November 8, 2025 at 7:34 PM
No chance that was being disallowed. We were running on empty and sat way too deep.
November 8, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Would like Hincapie on here. I'm just waiting for some more bullshit with a Calafiori red or something.
