I can only think of one person for whom this is true and it’s Stephen Miller, who for some reason will not rest till the US reproduces the violent xenophobia that made his and my ancestors flee eastern Europe. The rest of his family seems normal, though

A lot of reasonable anxiety about the possible reaction of the WH to this. But this was my instinctive reaction too, and I’m guessing a lot of people will also be wondering just why two WV national guardsman were deployed to DC for an obvious political stunt

I think we need to start visualizing the Trump Presidency ending, and socialize it. For it is the right thing to do for the country and the American people.
At this point we have to assume that if the Epstein files are released they will
- end the Trump Presidency
- implicate many other prominent Republicans
- destroy the careers of AG Bondi and his other defenders
This is beginning to feel like the greatest scandal in American history.
