No story really starts and stops the way you write it. So I often think about what happened before, what will happen after. Sometimes I discover history that should impact the present and also that I have not written far enough and the actual final perspective of the story still lies ahead of me.

Re contracts for books, I highly recommend becoming conversant with best practices, bad boilerplate clauses, etc, even if you have an agent, so you understand everything you have signed your name to. The idea anyone should use generative AI for this purpose is laughable.

People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

You don't have to listen to these professional liars who are barely trying. 9 months ago they were saying they were powerless to return a man they illegally sent to an El Salvador gulag because it would violate that country's national sovereignty
Vance pushes back and says this was not illegal, arguing "Maduro has multiple indictments in the United States for narcoterrorism. You don't get to avoid justice for drug trafficking in the United States because you live in a palace in Caracas."

Also, when reporters start talking about the chatbots this way, it is imperative to remind them they are basically asking a toaster for comment. They should be a lot more embarrassed about this than they currently are.

“Grok told CNN…” no it didn’t. You typed stuff into an unreliable calculator.

look, no it would NOT be a baby hobbit, they'd do it f*cked up and it would look like adult gollum just smol and wise cracking, chewing on a cigar. season 2 they'd mash it with baby yoda and call it Bebe Golyo Luv You.
Baby Gollum as a series is inevitable given the way the entertainment world is going.

This is true. Fictionmags is basically white men whining about there being more of a level playing field now. Robert Silverberg, Darrell Schweitzer, etc.
*Glyer is one of the inner circle of a group called Fictionmags. groups. io spearheaded by Paul Di Filippo and George Morgan. It's a smoke-filled back room for Libertarian Boomers to hem and haw and ho ho about them silly Transgenderderds and all the whiny minorities who pissed in their cornflakes🤣
