Strange how any negative framing of auto culture is automatically anti-car & radical yet the billions of dollars spent on violent car ads and auto first infrastructure isn't framed as anti-pedestrian, anti-bike, anti-transit, anti-person, anti-senior, anti-child or anti-planet.

You guys, my kid just discovered a *whole book* of poems in French that, when read in French, sound like mother goose rhymes in English (but said with a heavy French accent). They are grammatical in French! 😵💫 The one below is Humpty Dumpty. This is depraved and wonderful. I love/hate it.

As always, this is actually a design issue.
We need a ton more "left turn traffic calming," as diagramed here.
While it's actually intended as a pedestrian safety benefit, it actually addresses bike safety too by making both of the above maneuvers much less likely.
