I truly believe that we won't be able to fix the economy until we can get both workers and bosses to understand that $100,000 is no longer rich person money. So many peoples' sense of economic awareness is based on the 90s/2000s and never seems to update.

Such classic gaslighting it's an instructive moment. The question is not whether generic is better or worse, it's that a list with more expensive brand names is not the same as a list with cheaper generics. Perverting that truth into an attack on those calling it out is Manipulation 101.

Aside from all the very obvious problems with the idea that consumers are to blame for not wanting or needing your product, there's a reasonable chance I would buy a new phone if it wasn't stuffed to the gills with un-turnoffable AI bloat

My most woke opinion is that the whole point of society is to collectively help each other. My taxes should be going towards housing and feeding everyone. No one should be without food or shelter. Rich people should be contributing more towards this. It shouldn't even be controversial!
